JumpWire enforces strong field-level data controls whether it is deployed in front of an API or a database. Applications configured with a sufficient data classification level connect to JumpWire with the same libraries and tools they were already using, and see the raw data when querying. Any clients connecting with an insufficient classification will be unable to retrieve the original data.
Enforce policies directly on your database
JumpWire can run in front of your database and act as a transparent proxy. Based on policies you define, individual fields in the database will be automatically encrypted or tokenized while the rest of the data is left untouched. Any applications connecting directly to the database, bypassing the JumpWire proxy, will only be able to access the secured data and not the original values.
Handling inbound API requests
JumpWire can transparently proxy your GraphQL or JSON API. Individual fields are encrypted, tokenized, or filtered based on policies you define for all clients by default. Applications with a sufficient data classification will retrieve the raw values automatically without changing any code.
